Increasing horse power and torque is as simple as pushing a button with Hypertech's Power Programmer IIIâ„¢.  You simply plug The Power Programmerâ„¢ into the under dash diagnostic plug answer a series of "Yes/No" questions, and The Power Programmerâ„¢ does the rest. The Power Programmerâ„¢ is much more than a tuning chip, it is a self-contained automotive tuning computer.

When you connect it to your vehicle it's "smart" program instantly recognizes your vehicle's powertrain by reading its Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The VIN contains specific information on the engine, transmission and drivetrain, which it decodes before it downloads the Power Tuningâ„¢ program that is precisely tailored to your car or truck.  

The Power Programmerâ„¢ lets you choose Hypertech's Power Tuningâ„¢ for regular 87 octane or premium 93 octane gasoline.  Both options improve performance without detonation. After the tuning program is selected, the programmer automatically installs the tuning program, and also allows you to access and reprogram the vehicles computer to function properly with aftermarket components such as non-stock tire sizes and rear end gear ratios 

The Power Programmerâ„¢ is incredibly powerful, but is also incredibly easy to use. Reprogramming does not require any tools or knowledge of cars or even computers, plus you can return to OEM stock programming in just minutes.

Can I program more than one vehicle?
Yes, you can program more than one vehicle, but you can only do one vehicle at a time. For example, if you want to tune a friends vehicle...it would have to be the same make, year and model (using the same part #), but you have to reprogram your vehicle back to stock before you do so. You CAN NOT program two vehicles at the same time.

What are typical power gains with The Power Programmer III?
Depending on the application, at least an 8-10% improvement can be seen. In some cases there have dramatic improvements, up to 18%.
